      Introduction - Blender

      The Sparta Blender is a price discovery tool which shows the cheapest blend prices across the refinery hubs; units and pricing basis are displayed at the top of the table for each trading hub tab.

      The data is based on a non-linear solver model which is constantly looking at what is the cheapest blend composition, considering seasonality, flat price and the structure of the market.

      • Price discovery in your hands: Blenders control gasoline price discovery, but only 20% of traders are blenders. Sparta allows you to join the 20%.
      • Component valuation: Run sensitivity analysis to see the max price you can sell your components for.
      • Negotiation: A better understanding of your competitors blend margins give you the edge in purchase negotiations.
      • Custom Blends: Build and asses your custom blends to maintain your competitive advantage, or create stress test scenarios.
      • Analysis (coming soon): Anticipate on-demand components by looking at historical values and compositions for any blend in any given month.
