New Products
You don’t need to take any action; your account has already been moved to the relevant Sparta product tier (Curves, Knowledge, or Intelligence) based on your existing subscription.
All of your saved views and data remain available, now aligned with the new structure.

What it is:
We’ve restructured Sparta into three clear product tiers: Curves, Knowledge, and Intelligence.

Sparta Curves:
Live access to the entire global market in one view, futures, swaps, physical, and freight. Structure it your way, apply your own logic, overwrite values on the fly, and share live views across your team.
Sparta Knowledge:
Everything in Curves, plus curated headlines, expert insight, PRA assessments, and real-time trader calls. Connect price movements to flows, arbs, and trading logic with actionable context.
Sparta Intelligence:
Everything in Curves and Knowledge, plus live structured forecasts for arbs, freight, and blend margins. Run scenarios in seconds, utilise AI-powered trading signals, and access forward-looking market insights - your complete trading co-pilot.
New Side Menu
Location: Sparta webapp - Left and right-hand navigation pane
What it is: The side menu now follows the new Sparta product tiers: Curves, Knowledge, and Intelligence, grouping tools by module to make navigation faster and more intuitive.
A guided tour of the new side menu is available within the app. It guides you through the updated structure, highlighting where tools have been relocated. Start your in-app tour here.
What has changed:
Sparta Curves
‘Custom Charts’ are now called ‘Charts’ and can be found as a subsection under the ‘Table’ in Curves.
The ‘Freight Calculator’ has been moved under ‘Futures’ and is now split into two tools: ‘Clean Freight Calculator’ and ‘Dirty Freight Calculator’.
Sparta Knowledge
The new Knowledge section now houses both the ‘Market Outlook’ and ‘News’ features, bringing market context and updates together in one place.
The ‘News’ feature is now located under the Knowledge section. When selected, the Table view will open automatically with News displayed on the right-hand side.
Sparta Intelligence
The product selector remains at the top of the Intelligence section for easy switching. Global Arbs, both Blenders and Signal dashboards, are now housed under Intelligence, bringing forecasts, signals, and arb analysis together in one place.
The ‘Global Arbs’ dashboard and table are now located under the Intelligence section.
Signal dashboards are now located above Global Arbs in the new Intelligence section for both crude and freight verticals.
Both the ‘Gasoline Blender’ and ‘Fuel Oil Blender’ are now located under the Intelligence section, each within its respective vertical.
Integrations
Integrations (Sparta for Excel and Sparta API), previously referred to as ‘Extensions’, are now located at the bottom of the new side menu for quick access.

What it is:
Coverage has expanded with 300 new dirty freight routes across crude and fuel oil, now including additional vessel sizes: MR, Panamax, Aframax, Suezmax, and VLCC.

What it is:
An AI-powered assistant that gives you instant answers inside the platform.
Included Features:
- 24/7 in-app support.
- Seamless escalation to Customer Success if needed.

Market Outlook Notifications
Location: Sparta iOS mobile app
What it is: Get notified as soon as a new Market Outlook is published.
- iOS Push Notifications: Alerts are now available directly through the Sparta iOS app.
Instruction: When you open the Sparta iOS app, you’ll see a pop-up asking to allow push notifications. Select Allow to start receiving Market Outlook alerts. Notification settings are managed in your iOS device, and you can update your preferences at any time.
